Well, well, another year has come and gone. My, how time does fly! Let’s see, New Year’s Resolutions…..how about just one: Don’t make any New Year’s Resolutions. That one’s easy to keep and about the only one that I COULD keep. But, I’d better adopt at least one or I wouldn’t be thought sincere.

I’ve been the losing weight route…used that for at least the past 20 years. I could usually make it through 12:36 am on New Year’s Day before busting it wide open with some of Jane Johnson’s devilishly delicious desserts at her and David’s New Year’s Eve party. And, we’re going to their party again this year, so no use trying that one.

Quit smoking….did that at about the same time I began the losing weight resolution (I think the “quit smoking” resolution led to the latter), so don’t have to worry about that one anymore. I did succeed in at least one!

Make more money in 2011? What? With economy we’re in, not to mention the industry I’m in? Ain’t gonna happen. No use in trying that one.

Be a better person? Now that’s one area I could use some improvement, I’m sure. I’ll work on that, besides, it’s rather ambiguous and open to interpretation, don’t you think? I mean I could determine if I’ve been a better person, couldn’t I? I wouldn’t have to leave it up to other people to determine that, so even if I’ve improved even a small measure and other people hadn’t noticed, if I had noticed, then I would have kept the resolution, right?

Okay, then that’s it. I’m gonna be a better person in 2011.

I hope Santa was good to everyone.  My family enjoyed their first ever White Christmas…it was AWESOME!!  I want to personally wish everyone a very happy and prosperous 2011. May God Bless you and your family.

Well another year down.  Hopefully everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  How great would it be to start the year off with Auburn winning a national championship?  That’s how I’m hoping my New Year starts.  I think I’m going to take Al’s route and not make any New Years resolutions this year because I never seem to keep them.  My newsletter is short this month due to it being super busy; maybe I will have a better one next month.
