Well
here it is March already. Daylight savings time begins on March 13th and
the first day of Spring is March 20th. This is the month for the Eagle
102.3 Listener Appreciation tour. Our way of saying thank you to our
listeners. And your chance to win some cool prizes, so keep listening up
for that and come out and let us meet you face to face. You'll be able to
see why Al Haynes, our

Hold
on to your toupee, March looks to be a doozy as far as weather is concerned.
February roared out of here on Monday and it looks as though we may be
faced with another volatile system by this weekend. But, hey, that’s the way
spring always is and “lord have mercy”, I’m ready for some spring. We’ve
had a nice prelude the last couple of weeks and it can stay this way for my
money.
We’re
gearing up for our listener appreciation tour this month, a little thing we look
forward to every year, because we get to get out and visit with listeners and
many of the businesses in the east Alabama-west Georgia area. Each Thursday and
Friday during March and until Friday, April 1st, you’ll find us out
on location, so come on by and join us. And, if you’re looking for a real
bargain, you might contact your account representative about sponsoring an hour
of the tour. We’ll
do it live from your business, provide some nice giveaways, and do some meet and
greets with your customers…our listeners, all for a ridiculously low price.
Call me for more information at 256-610-1339. And, by the way, Happy St.
Patrick’s Day, too.

Here
it is March already….and with it brings Spring time and most importantly
turkey season.
I guess you could say that spring time is my favorite time of the year.
There is nothing more relaxing to me than to be sitting in the woods at
daylight and hear the animals as they begin to wake up….especially a turkey.
Things start to come to life once again and you begin to see the power of
God. A tree that looks dead turns into a exquisite dogwood, or you see the brown
lifeless grass turn into a stunning shade of green, or what you thought were
weeds at the edge of your yard turns into beautiful dandelions with the most
radiant color of yellow….just like circumstances in your life…the ones that
you feel have no purpose or are doomed for failure turn out to be the best thing
that could ever happen to you.
Another
sign of spring time is baseball and we are getting ready for a busy baseball
season as the Braves get geared up for yet another season.

Two months down in this year
and wow have they have gone by fast. They
say time flies when you’re having fun; I guess I’ve been having too much fun
because it seems like this year just began to me.
Hopefully time will keep going by fast for the next few months because I
have some things coming up this summer that I am looking forward to.
Well I can’t say it was a good newsletter this month for me, but at
least it was better or as good as the past couple I have written.
As always next month’s will be better.
